Vice-Chancellor's Message

It is my great pleasure to convey my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the Members of Executive Council, Members of Managements of Affiliated Institutions, Rector, Registrar, Deans and Directors, Principals, faculty, staff, and Students of affiliated and constituent colleges of Rayalaseema University (RU) on the occasion of the New Year 2021. Hope this New Year brings cheer and happiness to all of us. Recently, I assumed charge as the Vice-Chancellor of RU, wherein considerable progress can be witnessed in academics, research, and infrastructure development. Definitely, it will be a memorable experience for me to be with you all and be a part of the development of this University, to enhance the academic ambience and the infrastructure. Emphasis will be given to strengthen the newly established Engineering College and other new courses in the constituent colleges, to accelerate the construction activity in the University campus, to develop the research culture by framing the guidelines of R&D, and to initiate the faculty recruitment following the specific guidelines. We will also install a modular rooftop solar power plant to meet the power requirements of the university campus from the initial 100 kW and move forward in steps to increase up to 1 MW.

Widening of roads, footpaths, 2021 and tree plantation is to be taken up immediately at the beginning of the year Collaborate, Educate, and Innovate are the key steps for the development of the academic society. This University is stepping ahead to follow in these footsteps. New collaborative programmes shall be initiated with leading industries and foreign Universities in the years to come. All academic blocks and Hostel blocks in the university campus shall be revamped this year. Biometric attendance shall be made mandatory for the faculty, staff, and students in all the affiliated and constituent colleges, while emphasis shall be given to the quality of education. Curriculum for Engineering College shall be designed as per the AICTE guidelines and APSCHE to suit the requirements of the Industry, and planning ahead for dynamic curriculum instead of a static curriculum. We expect many such changes in developing the academic and research culture in constituent and affiliated institutions, All necessary steps shall be taken to attain the vision of the. University and to prepare the students to meet the global challenges. I request and wish to all the members of the Executive Council, Members of Managements of affiliated Institutions, Principals, Directors, Faculty members, student friends to direct their thoughts to succeed in the directions of meeting the Vision and Mission of the University, university and reach our goals with ease. Let us strive hard with unity for a clean, green, and academically strong year 2021 Once again, I wish you all a very happy, prosperous, and eventful new year 2021
